"Los Premios Mastropiero" is a spectacle theater of mood music of the Argentinean of informal instruments Les Luthiers , which does not repeat the classic format of their previous shows. In this show the group simulates a variety of awards to artists of the cinema, theater, broadcast television and music. During the course of the ceremony are interpreted as ternadas works as compositions of Johann Sebastian Mastropiero same.
The play premiered at the Teatro Astengo of Rosario , Argentina , on July 29th of 2005 . Since then, the show has been presented at the Teatro Gran Rex in Buenos Aires , in Mar del Plata , in several provinces of Argentina , in Punta del Este ( Uruguay ) and Santiago de Chile ( Chile ). Currently, this show is on tour in Spain and other countries like Mexico.
This work introduces a new instrument informal group: Lovely Alembic , played by Carlos Núñez Cortés , Carlos López Puccio , and Jorge Maronna
